Voltaren Emulgel is a topical anti-inflammatory gel for the temporary relief of muscle pain and inflammation. Voltaren Emulgel works to reduce the swelling and pain of OA and provides relief from muscle and joint injuries such as OA joint pain and swelling.

Usage Advice

Adults and children over 12 years: apply Voltaren Emulgel (the gel on your skin) twice a day for 1 month to painful or swollen joints. Wash your hands after application.

Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or liver problems. Do not use:

• If pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use on children under 12 years. Do not use on pregnant women.
• If using other analgesics, including aspirin, local anaesthetics, or local sedatives. Ask your pharmacist if you can ask for local anaesthetics.
• If you have asthma, or have other allergies. It is best to avoid contact with eyes.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use on children under 12 years.

Side effects

Patients allergic to Voltaren Emulgel are at increased risk of swelling and allergic reactions. These include asthma and other asthma-related disorders. Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction after topical application:

• If you have had a previous heart attack or stroke or if you have a heart failure.
• If you have a bladder kidney or kidney disorder. Do not use

Voltaren Injection is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to treat pain and inflammation. It is an anti-inflammatory medication that works by blocking the effects of substances that cause inflammation and pain. Voltaren Injection comes in two forms:

Voltaren Injection is safe to use for the treatment of pain and inflammation when used correctly. However, it is important that you follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist carefully and not to exceed the recommended dose.

Voltaren Injection is not intended for use by children or adolescents under the age of 18 years.

Dosing

Voltaren Injection should be taken with a full glass of water (8 ounces/240 mL) unless directed by your doctor. The dose is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
